The Rates Operations and Client Services team is the single point of contact/first level of critical issue to members, clients and exchanges and has the ultimate responsibility of ensuring a positive experience at LCH in respect to the SwapClear, Listed Rates, and SwapAgent services. The Operations and Client Services team works closely with all internal and external partners to ensure queries and issues are followed through to resolution. This is a highly visible role, working with sales and marketing as well as senior management.
The successful candidate should possess 2+ years' experience in clearing and related trade workflow. Examples include various life-cycle events across the services such as margin runs, compression offering and portfolio transfers. Working individually is just as important as within a team in this role, and the ability to work to tight timeframes and interact across geographical locations is required. A pro-active, confident and well-presented individual who possesses a greater level of aptitude for taking ownership of processes and is willing to progress as the team continues to grow will be a preferred candidate!
Responsibilities:

Handle multiple queries involving external members/clients which can range across all services we are responsible to cover

Be involved in ensure operational process are throughout services are being monitored/actioned daily

Being responsible for multiple services, requirement to monitor and action items with a fluctuating schedule

Work through processes to better reflect data internally to assist in conversations for ways of improvements internally

Work well with others internally, including the global team, to create a better experience for our Members/Clients
Essential Skills
-
Knowledge of central clearing and trade workflow is preferable.

Basic knowledge of Interest Rate Swaps and/ or Exchange traded Interest Rate and bond products would be advantageous.

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Strong analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with good attention to detail.

Strong computational skills with MS Excel.

Compensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):
LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $70,200 - $130,400.
Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/bonus plan). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
