 <p><b> ABOUT THE ROLE</b></p>
 <p>The Project Engineer will provide performance analysis and design expertise on utility-scale energy storage projects during the development, design, construction, and asset management phases. You will partner with internal and external contacts to be a subject matter expert on technical specifications for energy storage projects across the portfolio.</p>
 <p><b> WHAT YOU'LL DO</b></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Evaluate equipment performance, specifications, and roadmap by working with our internal Procurement team and equipment suppliers to drive technology evolution.</li>
  <li>Coordinate Independent Engineer (IE) due diligence including contract management, reviewing IE reports, IE technology assessments, and providing feedback as needed.</li>
  <li>Provide Owner Engineering review and approval for projects in all stages of design.</li>
  <li>Research new technologies and performance modeling techniques for Energy Storage.</li>
  <li>Review and provide technical input for key contracts including Interconnection Agreements, Equipment Procurement Agreements, Power Purchase Agreements, EPC Agreements, and O&M Agreements.</li>
  <li>Create conceptual system design and site layouts for Energy Storage.</li>
  <li>Provide engineering coordination and support to Construction Management team during project construction phase through commercial operation date.</li>
  <li>Drive technical specifications and evaluate scope of work for engineering design contracts, while also providing detailed oversight and support of contractors and providing technical review of contractor-supplied deliverables.</li>
  <li>Provide value engineering and analysis of design alternatives based on impact on financial returns for Energy Storage.</li>
  <li>Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.</li>
  <li>Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.</li>

  <li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
 </ul>
 <p><b>MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS</b></p>
 <ul>
  <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.</li>
  <li>Experience: Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in utility-scale energy storage or solar.</li>
  <li>Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.</li>
  <li>Skills/Attributes: 
   <ul>
    <li>Familiarity with technical specs of the equipment used in energy storage projects.</li>
    <li>Familiar with basic energy modeling techniques to predict energy consumption and assess energy storage system performance.</li>
    <li>Foundational engineering contract knowledge and understanding.</li>
    <li>Ability to review a project schedule, including design reviews, constructability, and value engineering.</li>
    <li>Capable at nurturing new relationships for collaboration in achieving shared goals.</li>
    <li>Ability to independently gather and understand project requirements to effectively complete a task.</li>
    <li>Competent in basic engineering project management, overseeing tasks and schedules to ensure projects are completed.</li>
    <li>Adept at conveying detailed information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring effective understanding among internal and external stakeholders.</li>
    <li>Ability to work through different opinions of design choices, including potential conflict resolution</li>
    <li>Self-motivated to work through complex problems and competing priorities, including a high level of detail and organization.</li>
    <li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.</li>
