 Solar Impact is looking for an experienced site superintendent to oversee commercial solar installations.
 
 Overview:
 The Site Superintendent ensures projects are delivered successfully and on time. In this position, you will collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to define project needs; oversee team performance; monitor projects from planning to completion, including budget and schedule; follow quality standards; and ensure the safety and security of the construction site. 
 
 This position requires out-of-town travel and overnight stays.

 </ul> Compensation:
 $60,000 - $75,000 DOE Responsibilities:
 <ul>
 <li>Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, etc. to determine project needs</li>
 <li>Requisition project materials and equipment per Materials Management Process</li>
 <li>Set performance goals and deadlines</li>
 <li>Plan installation processes</li>
 <li>Track costs and ensure the project is on budget</li>
 <li>Supervise and hold the team accountable, provide constructive feedback as needed</li>
 <li>Manage subcontractors on-site</li>
 <li>Monitor and report on project progress</li>
 <li>Plan inspections and obtain construction permits from local authorities</li>
 <li>Ensure compliance with safety, health, and quality standards</li>
 <li>Keep track of material stock, orders, and equipment on-site</li>
 <li>Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly</li>
 <li>Communicate with the office to resolve on-site issues and emergencies</li>
 </ul> Qualifications:
 <ul>
 <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>
 <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience as a construction superintendent or in a similar role</li>
 <li>Knowledge of local quality, safety, and health guidelines applicable to construction job sites</li>
 <li>Strong organizational skills and ability to work effectively under pressure</li>
 <li>A strong understanding of solar installation operations and processes is essential</li>
 <li>Must be certified in forklift operation</li>
 <li>Proficiency in MS Office and/or iOS</li>
 <li>Strong time-management skills</li>
 <li>Ability to lead and inspire the project team</li>
 <li>Must be willing and able to travel out of town for up to 5 days at a time</li>
