 We have an exciting opportunity for you to be a part of the renewable energy industry! Nor-Cal Controls provides engineering controls solutions for utility-scale renewable energy power plants, battery energy storage systems, and microgrids, and we are looking for a Proposal Coordinator to join our excellent team! As the Proposal Coordinator, you are responsible for facilitating the proposal process by interfacing with our internal team and clients to ensure our proposals are accurate and submitted in a timely manner. This full-time position is open to in-office, hybrid, or fully remote work options with a starting salary range of $25.00 - $30.00/hour* with a high preference for someone able to commit to our standard work schedule (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM PST/PDT).

 What a successful Proposal Coordinator will accomplish in the first 90 days:
 <ul>
 <li>Respond to requests for proposals (RFPs) from clients and coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure proposals are accurate and submitted on time.</li>
 <li>Develop, maintain, and nurture client relationships.</li>
 <li>Understand the companys products, solutions, and services as well as our internal organization.</li>

 Position Requirements:
 <ul>
 <li>High School diploma and 1+ years' administrative experience.</li>
 <li>1-2 years proposal/estimating and/or legal/paralegal experience.</li>
 <li>1-2 years experience coordinating proposal submissions in a technical industry (e.g., networking, IT, computers, software, etc.).</li>
 <li>Ability to understand technical engineering details (previous experience in a controls engineering or software engineering company preferred).</li>
 <li>Strong software skills including: 2+ years working with MS Office Suite products (e.g., Word, Excel, and Outlook).</li>
 <li>Excellent customer service and communication skills.</li>
 <li>Strong attention to detail.</li>

 <li>Compensation is based on a several factors including relevant experience, education, and locality. The advertised range is based on California market rates and may be adjusted based on where a candidate resides.</li>
