Taylor Hopkinson is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Sales Engineer/Technical Sales/Application Manager with a global leader in power electronic devices for the PV, wind, and energy sectors, with a global presence in Europe, Latin America, the USA, China, South Africa, and India.
 
Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Define and integrate systems for renewable generation plants, storage systems, and large-scale hybrid systems.</li>
<li>Conduct economic assessments of these systems.</li>
<li>Develop solutions for managing generation and consumption in hybrid plants.</li>
<li>Support the maintenance of plant functionalities during the warranty period.</li>
<li>Manage technical-commercial projects from definition through execution and commissioning.</li>
</ul>
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering.</li>
<li>Bilingual in Spanish and English.</li>
<li>Relevant experience in the sector and tasks, particularly with BESS</li>
<li>Willingness to occasionally travel internationally.</li>
<li>Experience with electrical systems, power electronics converters, and their control.</li>
<li>Knowledge of power electronic equipment and sizing.</li>
<li>Experience sizing power systems to meet grid code requirements.</li>
<li>Previous experience in technical project and client management.</li>
<li>Previous experience analyzing and ensuring grid code compliance for photovoltaic and storage plants, generating reports, proposing improvements, and implementing them.</li>
</ul>
Desirable Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Experience with storage systems and reactive power compensation systems.</li>
<li>Familiarity with grid code compliance.</li>
<li>Experience commissioning power converters and using laboratory measurement and instrumentation equipment.</li>
<li>Experience in power system simulations on platforms such as PSCAD, Digsilent, PSSE, PVSYST, and ASPEN.</li>
