Overview
TRC Advanced Energy (TRC) is a nationally known energy efficiency consultancy. TRC collaborates with clients to develop and implement market transforming programs and initiatives that promote energy efficiency, renewable energy, and green building in multiple market sectors across the US and around the world. These initiatives reduce energy costs, improve the health and safety conditions of buildings, while also helping the environment by reducing greenhouse gas emissions. TRC acts nationally to address some of our country’s most challenging problems: global climate change and energy independence.
TRC desires to hire an Assistant Project Manager for The Multifamily Technical Services efforts need support for application processing, project transactions, contracting, data analysis, data entry, business process improvements, reporting, and oversight and triage of the Program inboxes. This role is the backbone of the. Technical Services initiative. The current large intake and workload for those programs has overwhelmed existing coordination team and led to delays in application assignments and contracting leading to concerns from service providers, which could lead to reduced participation and value to service providers. This role would build capacity for the existing team, enabling us to address the current and forecasted pipeline of projects in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities
- Process project transactions in both the financial database (NEIS) and project databases (Building Portal & Salesforce)
- Programmatic support including customer/consultant/stakeholder communications, email inbox triage, documentation of solicitation feedback, facilitation of programmatic updates, etc. CEF Reporting support
- Support to business process development and refinement
- Support project database migration to Salesforce
- Oversight and support of on-going Quality Assurance/Quality Control of database systems and Programs
- Data analysis and ad-hoc reporting
- General support to Project Managers when needed
- Other duties as needed that are consistent with this level of staffing to support the general functions of the Multifamily Technical Services Team
Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including high-level skills such as Pivot tables, graphing, and advanced formulas and functions. Analytical and critical thinking skills with a well-established set of these abilities.
- Ability to understand and navigate different database systems; experience with NEIS and/or Salesforce is a plus.
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Proficient in NEIS, Salesforce, SharePoint, Buildings Portal, and Tableau.
- Demonstrated basic understanding of fundamental analytical principles.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Knowledgeable in at least one technical or programmatic area relevant to the Authority's current involvement, with awareness of energy-related aspects of research, environmental science, and economics.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data, produce quality communications, and demonstrate an aptitude for learning.
- Capable of implementing task and project ideas suggested by others.
- Experience assisting other project managers in developing and managing projects, or managing own projects under close supervision.
- Productive on assignments, with the capability to manage technical and cost control aspects of multiple ongoing projects with close supervision.
- Approaches tasks logically, making effective use of time and resources in performing work.
- Ability to assist in a project's inception through to completion, demonstrating an ability to figure out next steps.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
USD $56,222.00 - USD $84,988.00 /Yr.
