 Offshore Commissioning Engineer M&E required for a Major Offshore Windfarm developer in the Northeast.
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>M&E engineer will be responsible to coordinate and engage in testing and opera on of OSS & WTG auxiliary systems and associated controls, such as, but not limited to heating, cooling, and ventilation, cleaning water, diesel storage, supply, and standby generator, fire alarms and extinguishing, lighting, navaids, safety critical equipment, low‐voltage supply including batteries.</li>
<li>Ensure the offshore substation equipment is tested and opera ng correctly and according to design specification.</li>
<li>Onsite owner’s representation to witness, inspect, audit, walkdown, and accept work activities and documentation related to commissioning.</li>
<li>Ensure electrical health and safety program is followed, appropriate and effective during all work activities.</li>
<li>Authorize, audit, and supervise electrical activities as needed as electrical authorized person.</li>
<li>Coordinate, deconflict, and document commissioning operations onshore and offshore.</li>
<li>Review and monitor OSS commissioning progress and create reports as needed.</li>
<li>Support all commissioning scope activities from onshore to offshore during the CVOW project.</li>
<li>Support Commissioning Manager with project planning and preparation.</li>
<li>Review and ensure OSS commissioning As‐Built Documentation handover process compliance.</li>
<li>Review technical procedures, documents, checklists, and schedules for criticality and validity.</li>
<li>Assist in creation and review of plans and procedures commissioning, isolation, and energization of CVOW assets.</li>
<li>Conduct and lead meetings with CVOW suppliers related to commissioning execution.</li>
</ul>
 
Requirements:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree in engineering or similar education in mechanical and electrical subjects.</li>
<li>Minimum 5‐years of experience in mechanical/electrical construction or other relevant fields.</li>
<li>Proficient understanding technical documentation: drawings, single‐line diagrams, specifications, etc.</li>
<li>Proficient with testing, understanding, reading, configuring electrical equipment and associated measurement tools.</li>
<li>Experience supervising LV and HV electrical work, electrical safety programs, and isolation programs like LOTO.</li>
<li>Experience supervising work on construction sites: onshore, offshore, on vessels, working at heights.</li>
<li>Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) as required; up to 50% of the travel will between different facilities. Current passport and valid driver’s license required.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain NERC authorization and pass background check requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to obtain GWO, HUET, and other associated certificates of fitness for work offshore.</li>
<li>Ability to proactively lead and manage multiple work scopes and objectives.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively communicate in English and with those for which English is a second language.</li>
<li>Ability to work as part of a diverse, international team, influencing decisions and reacting positively to challenges as the project evolves.</li>
