Position Specific Description
This position is responsible for the overall management of all electrical engineering related aspects for wind, solar, BESS, and transmission/substation engineering.
- The role requires support of all assigned Engineering & Construction (E&C) projects, to ensure compliance with required LGIA, project specifications, design, IEEE, NESC, industry codes and standard and all safety goals, with focus on ensuring designs meet ERCOT NOGRR 245, and new NERC PRC-028, PRC-029 and PRC-030.
- Employees in this role support early stage design for assigned projects through review of EOR station layouts, design reviews, one-line and three line diagrams, scope-of work documents, vendor product evaluations, equipment bid reviews, vendor equipment contract support, field construction support and troubleshooting of equipment and materials.
- Supports Transmission Services with the review of interconnection documentation including system impact studies, facility studies and Interconnection agreements and ensures that Transmission Owner requirements and E&C engineering design are consistent and in compliance with all ISO requirements.

- Ability to meet attendance and storm duty requirements
- Ability to work extended hours
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- Bachelor's - Engineering
- Experience:7+ years
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
- Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Green Belt Certified
- Master's Degree
- Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certified
- Six Sigma Master Black Belt
