<li>Remote/Hybrid Tech Lead Substation Design Engineer</li>
<li>Location: Overland Park, Kansas (Kansas City metropolitan area)</li>
<li>Work Schedule: Three in-office days and two flex/remote days per week 
</li>
</ul>
Key Responsibilities As the Tech Lead Substation Design Engineer, you will: <ul>
<li>Function as a technical lead specializing in substation design</li>
<li>Develop electrical design deliverables and participate in project management activities</li>
<li>Interact with clients, vendors, and subcontractors</li>
<li>Conduct quality assurance/quality control projects and mentor junior engineers 
</li>
</ul>

<li>Stay informed about design standards and engineering codes</li>
<li>Support continuous improvement initiatives</li>
<li>Prepare and review engineering deliverables and calculations</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal and external team members on projects</li>
<li>Focus on client needs and project success 
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications <ul>
<li>Bachelor’s Degree in engineering</li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of related work experience</li>
<li>Ability to meet pre-employment requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.) 
</li>
</ul>
Desired Qualifications <ul>
<li>Substation design experience</li>
<li>Quality assurance and quality control knowledge</li>
<li>Professional Engineering License or Engineer in Training certification</li>
<li>Strong communication and project management skills 
</li>
</ul>
