 LG Chem is expanding and we are actively searching for an Internal Communications Specialist who will support our executives and senior leaders. In this role, the incoming will collaborate with team leaders to gain, compile and present executive business summaries that provide a snap shot of the economy, labor markets and industries for business decision making. Successful candidates will have a proven track record working directly with senior leaders, have attended executive meetings and prepared meeting notes, and lead the strategic planning process across the organization.
 
 Essential Functions: 
 <ul>
 <li>Partner with the vice president to develop, implement, and monitor business goals, action plans and initiatives.</li>
 <li> Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration and visibility, and ensure the company's strategic goals are achieved efficiently and effectively.</li>
 <li> Serve as a key liaison between the President, internal teams, and LG Chem Headquarters (Korea). </li>
 <li>Research and prepare business reports used for executive level decision making based on the economy, labor market and current or future regulations that may impact the companys products and business segments.</li>
 <li> Compile functional reports and provide an executive summary that conveys work progress across all functions for the organization.</li>
 <li> Plan, organize and lead meetings. </li>
 <li>Coordinate with Headquarters and local leaders to host senior leaders, VIPs and other special guests. </li>
 <li>Performs other incidental and related duties including host senior leaders such as the CEO.</li>
 </ul>
 
 Responsibilities:
 <ul>
 <li> Collaborate with the Vice President and internal team leaders to set strategic goals, KPIs for the goals, and prepare progress reports that speak to the status of each goal. </li>
 <li>Prepare quarterly reports for business review with CEO. </li>
 <li>Gather, analyze and interpret extensive amounts of data to prepare monthly market intelligence report used by executives for their strategic decision-making. </li>
 <li>Manage staff meeting agendas and prepare action items for follow-up. </li>
 <li>Collaborate with the finance team to present information that supports data-driven decisions.</li>
 <li> Facilitate discussions in areas related to HQ directions, strategic discussions, and CEO related events. </li>
 <li>Prepare briefing materials and agendas for weekly C-Suite Staff meetings and events, ensuring the President is well-prepared.</li>
 <li> Craft compelling and insightful presentations for Town Hall meeting using data the VP will discuss to deliver key updates.</li>
 <li> Plan and manage workshops for the CEO and Executives.</li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements:
 <ul>
 <li> Bachelors degree required.</li>
 <li> 3+ years of experience providing operational support, preparing executive summaries and project management for a senior executive.</li>
 <li> Experience translating strategy into an operational plan and drive to completion.</li>
 <li> Ideal candidates will have a proven track record leading and managing high-impact, cross-organizational projects, programs and events.</li>
 <li> Bilingual Korean/English required</li>
 <li> Strong written and verbal communication skills required to interact with individuals at various levels of the organization in the Americas and Headquarters in Korea. Strong attention to detail required.</li>
 <li> Ability to communicate with HQ to effectively frame issues to drive strategic thinking and resolution.</li>
 <li> Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with a focus on advanced skills in PowerPoint. </li>
 <li>Experience in managing and publishing Market related reports targeted to executives leaders.</li>
