Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Understand product test requirements and procedures for energy storage systems.-Utilize inspection and measurement equipment to qualify product quality by following established operating instructions.-Conduct quality inspections at all production stages: incoming materials, in-process, and finished goods.-Maintain accurate and complete inspection records, ensuring data integrity.-Generate test reports, verifying that report data accurately reflects testing results.-Perform routine equipment checks, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting.
Required Qualifications: Preferred: Associate degree in a technical field (electrical, mechanical, electronics, etc.) or equivalent vocational training.Acceptable: High school diploma with demonstrable technical aptitude and relevant coursework.Ideal: Some experience in a technical or manufacturing setting, especially with electrical or mechanical systems.Advantageous: Basic electrical safety certifications or other relevant industry-recognized credentials.Essential: Ability to use hand tools, read technical drawings, and understand basic electrical/mechanical concepts.Highly Desirable: Familiarity with testing equipment, common measurement tools (multimeters, calipers, etc.), and troubleshooting procedures.Must-have: Proficiency with standard computer applications (word processing, spreadsheets)Beneficial: Previous experience with data collection and organization.Other Requirements-Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.-Ability to work independently following instructions as well as collaborate within a team.-Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Physical Requirements:-The employee is regularly required to stand for long periods.-Duties include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting to 50 pounds.-Ability to pass static strength requirements (grip).-Visual acuity including, but not limited to:-NEAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less. Use this factor when special andminute accuracy is demanded.-FAR ACUITY - Clarity of vision at 20 feet or more. Use this factor when visual efficiency interms of far acuity is required in day and night/dark conditions.-DEPTH PERCEPTION - Three-dimensional vision. Ability to judge distances and spatialrelationships to see objects where and as they actually are.-COLOR VISION - Ability to identify and distinguish colors.-FIELD OF VISION - Observing an area that can be seen up and down or to right or leftwhile eyes are fixed on a given point.
