Taylor Hopkinson is in search of a highly skilled and experienced Onshore Wind Project Manager advisory business in the Americas to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of onshore wind energy projects. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations.
 
Our client is a prominent leader in safety science on a global scale, and assists companies in showcasing safety, promoting sustainability, fortifying security, ensuring quality, managing risk, and achieving compliance with regulatory standards.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Scheduling:
<ul>
<li>Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.</li>
<li>Establish project milestones and monitor progress against established timelines.</li>
</ul>
Project Execution and Management:
<ul>
<li>Lead project execution activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.</li>
<li>Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance.</li>
<li>Proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project delivery.</li>
<li>Implement effective communication strategies to keep stakeholders informed of project status and developments.</li>
</ul>
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
<ul>
<li>Ensure that all project activities comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices.</li>
<li>Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to verify compliance with project requirements.</li>
<li>Implement corrective actions as necessary to address non-conformities and deviations from project specifications.</li>
</ul>
Client Relationship Management:
<ul>
<li>Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.</li>
<li>Foster positive relationships with clients by addressing their concerns, resolving issues, and delivering high-quality results.</li>
<li>Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for value-added services and support business development initiatives.</li>
</ul>
Continuous Improvement:
<ul>
<li>Identify opportunities to streamline project processes and improve operational efficiency.</li>
<li>Collect and analyze project performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.</li>
<li>Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance future project delivery.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Project Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.</li>
<li>Proven experience managing onshore wind energy projects, including project planning, execution, and delivery for an advisory firm.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of onshore wind energy systems, components, and technologies.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.</li>
</ul>
