Offshore and Onshore Service Technician

IQIP, the global leader in pile driving and handling equipment, is looking for an Offshore and Onshore Service Technician. Together with our 400 colleagues across the globe, we provide smart and sustainable solutions for a variety of projects. Our work extends both at sea, where we contribute to wind farm and oil & gas projects, and on land, where we engage in projects related to bridges and ports. You will be contributing to the installation of foundations for both the onshore and offshore markets, working on making the world more sustainable.

Your work

As a Service Technician at IQIP, you are at the heart of our operations at locations around the world. You’ll work on installing foundations for offshore wind farms that provide thousands of households with green power or bridges to improve transportation and stimulate economic growth. This means working outdoors, at sea, where you literally and figuratively rise above yourself. Your tasks include independently maintaining, repairing, commissioning, and (digitally) operating our hydraulic equipment. When not on a project, you work at our yard in Broussard, often on the equipment you will use on your next project.

Your Responsibilities:

• Independently maintain, repair, commission, and operate hydraulic equipment.
• Work on installing foundations for both offshore and onshore projects.
• Travel internationally, focusing on the Americas, for project assignments.

Your profile

• Passionate about hydraulics/electricity, a self-starter with a successful project completion record.
• Performs well under time pressure, is service-oriented, flexible, and prioritizes safety and goals.
• Takes ownership – acts proactively without waiting for directions.
• Certificates (BOSIET/FOET OPITO) are a plus.
• Proficient in English, with a valid driver’s license and passport, willing to travel internationally.
• Vocational education in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering is a plus, as is relevant work experience.
