Job Title: Project Developer

My client is a leading developer in the renewable energy sector specializing in commercial & industrial (C&I), community, and utility-scale solar projects. They pride themselves on their ability to break into new markets and lead the way in sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and secure new project opportunities in emerging markets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments for potential solar projects.
• Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, utilities, local government officials, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee the permitting process, including coordinating with local, state, and federal agencies.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
• Manage the interconnection process.
• Track market trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements to inform project development strategies.
• Represent the company at industry conferences, meetings, and public forums.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in solar project development, focusing on C&I, community, or utility-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of the solar industry, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and technical aspects of solar projects.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to travel as needed to support project development activities.
