As logistics and industry experts, They have decades of experience in the logistics industry and a professional team of over 1,000 employees.

Work Mode: Work remotely from Los Angeles, CA, New York, NY or Dallas, TX.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop more competitive new products (including suppliers) and provide solutions based on business needs and market information. Conduct market research on existing markets to ensure the competitiveness and market share of products.

Research and analyze the overall trend of route development and market freight rates. Collect and organize information on changes in capacity and volume, market competition dynamics, and freight rate fluctuations of relevant routes.

Maintain relationships with various shipowners on the assigned routes and negotiate and sign freight rate contracts. Reduce procurement costs for freight rates and coordinate various affairs on the shipowner’s end during contract execution.

Understand the calling ports, advantages, and disadvantages of shipping companies on the route. Maintain good relationships with shipping companies and freight forwarders and regularly collect and summarize shipping market trends. Resolve major issues regarding freight rates, space, etc., and provide necessary business guidance for the freight procurement of various business units.

Maintain and update price costs in real-time and develop a standardized and proceduralized quotation system SOP.

Complete other tasks assigned by the leadership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or above in international trade, logistics, or related fields. Fluent in English, which can be used as a working language.

More than 5 years of experience in the maintenance and development of shipping routes, with priority given to those with ship company relations or sales capabilities.

Familiar with the operational processes and business knowledge of maritime exports, closely related to shipping companies, and capable of controlling routes and cabin space independently.

Familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of various routes and shipping companies, as well as various container types and calculation methods for full/container shipping.

Possess good professional ethics, honesty, and trustworthiness. Strong market awareness, comprehensive analytical ability, and risk control ability.
