American Home Contractors We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our solar production team. In this role, you will handle project permitting, coordinate surveys, and manage project timelines, ensuring the highest quality standards, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Here’s your chance to:

  • Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, demand for products and
  • services, and efficacy of existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Conduct market research, sales forecasting, and strategic planning to assess and ensure the sale and profitability of products.
  • Conduct pricing research and analysis to ensure competitive product and service pricing.
  • Research and apply for project permits.
  • Coordinate site surveys and meetings with customers, architects, and builders.
  • Schedule installation and delivery dates
  • Assists PM with managing and scheduling subcontractors and other vendors; assists with updating project schedule.
  • Identifies, tracks, and obtains approval for all change orders and claims; follows-up on approval and communicates to project team.
  • Participates in meetings for project specific scheduling, budgeting, and planning with supervisors.
  • Report project progress to the Senior Project Manager
  • Process all intake paperwork for new projects.
  • Update the CRM with project updates.
  • Ensure projects are progressing and meeting timelines.
  • Communicate project updates with the Energy Advisors.
  • Other duties as assigned

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An associate degree in construction or business is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum 1-year experience as a junior or assistant project manager preferred but not required
  • Experience using Solar Software preferably Aurora.
  • Preferred working knowledge of solar energy industry and permitting, AHJ’s is preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience in account management, project management, order management, or construction installation is a plus!
  • Ability to analyze, plan, schedule, and implement project installation.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize a large volume of project information and details.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with a wide range of people, both within and outside the company.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in business transactions, and capable of providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to improve systems and processes.

  • Vacation and Sick Pay: Forty hours of vacation leave and forty hours of sick time per calendar year. An additional forty hours of vacation leave after three years of service.

  • Life Insurance and AD&D: $50,000 in life insurance benefits and $50,000 in AD&D policy, fully covered by American Home Contractors.
  • 401k: 401k safe harbor match offered 12 months after the hire date. Employees can contribute to their 401k after 30 days of employment.
