In your new role you will:
  • May act as a lead of a team in the performance of a variety of tasks that are often routine, coordinating and facilitating the work of others but is not a supervisor
  • Works autonomously within established procedures and practices
  • Spends a majority of working time performing the same work processes and activities as employees on team
  • Performs a variety of complex tasks, solves complex problems of a recurring nature
  • Good decision-making and disposition latitude within the scope of the task
  • Maintenance Electrician shall have skills in system operation and maintenance of the < 600V electrical system in a semiconductor factory
  • Operating understanding and functional switching of 4160V and 12.4k systems
  • Knowledge of NEC and perform routine maintenance task(s) pertaining to the electrical equipmen t and systems , using measurement equipment, performing maintenance activities on motors , starters , lighting equipment , test equipment , VFDs
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • Specialist knowledge and skills are generally acquired through: a relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years, and: additional subject-specific experience (5+ years), or extensive subject-specific additional qualification
    the total knowledge and skills can also be acquired in other ways working experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Must be able to write work plans for scheduled maintenance work to be conducted without any unplanned impacts i.e. rotating equipment workarounds , and bringing systems back on line
  • Work from a ladder, Pickup, Carry 55 lbs
  • Troubleshooting of field devices and process equipment to clearly identify process out of spec conditions and assist in root cause analysis and recovery of system to in spec state of operation
  • Strong understanding of Electrical Control and Power Systems and Operation
  • Shall have experience with all types of Electrical (Voltage, Ohm and Amp) instrumentation including VOM, Megger, Dranetz
  • Experience on previous Semiconductor or Manufacturing sites is also preferred
  • Participate as a member of the Trouble Call team working with the Infineon Technologies Facilities Department to ensure accurate and complete operational deliverables
  • Understanding of overall system installation from a process implementation standpoint
  • Computer skill; Microsoft Suite
  • Self-motivated, recognize task and start the corrective action
  • Licensed Journeyman or higher Electrician, recognized by Austin Texas
