Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar panels on residential and commercial properties, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, a willingness to learn, and the ability to work at heights.
Responsibilities:
– Install solar panels and related equipment, including roof attachments and electrical connections.
– Conduct site assessments to determine the best placement of solar panels and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
– Build and maintain a high level of knowledge of solar panel systems and their components, including inverters, charge controllers, and mounting systems.
– Work at heights, including on rooftops, and in confined spaces.
– Install fixtures and electrical components according to manufacturer specifications and local building codes.
– Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with the National Electric Code (NEC) and all relevant safety protocols are followed.
Requirements:
– Experience in the construction industry or related field. (Preferred)
– Familiarity with solar panel systems and their components. (Preferred)
– Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
– Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour
