Financial Contract Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company who is a leading provider of dredging services in the United States, also actively expanding into offshore wind energy industry. They are looking for a skilled Financial Contract Analyst to join their team!

The Contract Analyst will support both the Contracts and Operations Departments, reporting to the Senior Contract Analyst. This role involves frequent interactions with senior management, various departments, project management and equipment managers, as well as external clients, both governmental and private. The ideal candidate will be proficient at handling multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, review, and maintain equipment rates.
  • Develop, review, and maintain payroll rates (union, non-union, and prevailing wage).
  • Develop, review, and maintain the standard rate book.
  • Analyze fleet profitability of dredges and plant rationalization.
  • Review FAR and DFAR regulations.
  • Assist in preparing requests for proposals, equitable adjustments, and claims, including certified cost packages, contract cost analysis, variance analysis, equipment and payroll rates, and evidence collection.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 4 Years in Construction Accounting or Finance
  • Ability to take complex data and find key metrics
  • Expert level problem solver and analytical
  • excelent written, verbal and communication skills
  • Must be able to work in an in-office work environment; at this time the office work personnerl are working a hyrbid schedule of 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR highly preferred.
