Job Description

About the Role:

My client, a leading general contractor in the US, is seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager with a strong background in Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) construction. This is a travelling role, offering the opportunity to work on diverse and impactful projects across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Management: Oversee all phases of RNG construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors and on-site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements, maintaining high-quality construction practices.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project progress, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement solutions to minimize impact.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel extensively to project sites across the US, adapting to varying locations and environments.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in the construction industry, with a focus on Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.

Skills:

  • Strong project planning, budgeting, and scheduling skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and safety regulations.
  • Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
  • Travel: Must be willing to travel extensively as required by project locations.
