Job Description

Hybrid Cell Technology and NuVision Solar are in search of a Senior Director of Renewable Energy Facilities Engineering who is well-versed in directing engineering operations and holds a solid track record in the solar energy domain. The ideal candidate will have a robust passion for renewable energy and extensive experience in managing the design, planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of complex manufacturing facilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and orchestration of facility layouts, focusing on the seamless integration of RODI plants, comprehensive gas delivery systems for bulk, toxic, and flammable gases, and chemical delivery and waste management.

• Direct the planning and execution of wastewater treatment plants, ensuring environmentally responsible disposal and treatment processes.

• Manage the installation and operation of sophisticated HVAC systems, tailored to meet the stringent requirements of solar manufacturing facilities.

• Ensure the effective functioning of gas monitoring systems, prioritizing safety and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

• Supervise the implementation and maintenance of building management systems to optimize operational efficiency and reliability.

• Guide the operation and upkeep of air-handling systems within cleanroom environments, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and contamination control.

• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all facilities-related activities, ensuring all systems function cohesively and support the production of high-quality solar products.

• Lead cross-functional teams in regular facility assessments to identify areas for improvement, upgrade opportunities, and the implementation of best practices in facility management.

Qualifications

• A strong educational foundation with a Master’s or PhD in Engineering, with a preference for specializations in Electrical, Mechanical, or Renewable Energy.

• A minimum of 10 years in the engineering field, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, ideally within the solar or renewable energy sectors.

• A track record of successfully overseeing the full lifecycle of engineering projects, especially in a high-tech manufacturing startup environment.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, capable of fostering a collaborative and results-driven team atmosphere in a fast-paced environment.

• A commitment to the highest standards of excellence, ethical practices in business, and the promotion of a strong team-working ethos.
