Transmission Site Manager for Solar Projects – 12 Month Contract – FL

My client are looking for an experienced Transmission Site Manager to oversee the transmission infrastructure for a solar projects in FL.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, construction, and operation of transmission systems.
• Ensure compliance with policies, standards, and regulations.
• Coordinate with teams, contractors, and stakeholders for timely, budget-compliant delivery.
• Oversee installation of electrical components, including substations, transformers, and transmission lines.
• Conduct site assessments and address potential issues.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Monitor project progress and provide updates to senior management.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site.
• Manage and mentor on-site personnel and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
• 5+ years in transmission infrastructure management, preferably in solar or renewable energy.
• Experience with high voltage systems (e.g., 69 kV, 138 kV, 230 kV, or higher).
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Willingness to travel.
