Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Analog and Digital electronic design and related fields
  • 7+ years of experience in Power Electronics and/or Power Conversion systems
  • Hands on experience with Lithium Battery Energy Storage Systems
  • Hands on experience with power supply design, analysis, and simulation
  • Familiarity with regulatory agency requirements and documentation
  • Hands on experience with electronics lab test equipment
  • Understanding of technical requirements and documentation

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

  • MSEE or related field is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform system level evaluations and debug activities related to enterprise level battery energy storage systems. Work with the larger development (software, firmware, mechanical) team to implement changes required.
  • Plan and execute project subtasks (designing, testing, etc.)
  • Assist in product and process design and review
  • Guide engineers, technicians and associates to ensure project and product quality and performance
  • Consult with vendors and suppliers to ensure product and project quality and performance
  • Establish and follow industry best practices for new and existing designs
  • Identify opportunities and propose technical improvements by applying advanced electrical engineering knowledge and principles
  • Contribute to internal design reviews to ensure adherence to the Honeywell design process and methodology.
