Summary

Regularly provides informal guidance and support to less experienced team members. Welds components per WPS/VGS Procedures / bill of material. Operates Welding equipment in compliance with engineering standards. Applies settings and maintains Welding equipment.

Position requires proficiency through training and considerable on-the-job experience. Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures and completes work with a limited degree of supervision. Will be responsible for assisting the supervisor in daily production requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Will be responsible for assisting the supervisor in daily production requirements.
• Welds components per WPS/VGS Procedures / bill of material.
• Operates Welding equipment in compliance with engineering standards.
• Applies settings, calibrates, and maintains Welding equipment.
• Completes work with a limited degree of supervision and regularly provides guidance to others.
• Regularly provides informal guidance and support to less experienced team members.
• Proven experience as a fabricator/pipe fitter (welder) or similar role.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Able to layout parts and weld in accordance with blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong welding skills and knowledge of various welding techniques.
• Familiarity with fabrication tools and equipment, such as grinders, saws, and cutting torches.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to welding and fabrication.
• Ability to pass welder qualification.
• Impacts the results of own work team.
• Willing to conduct other tasks required to support workshop operations (Inspections, Cleaning, etc.).

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fabrication and welding.
• Able to pass welder qualification.

Additional Information

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis, now or in the future, without employer sponsorship for employment visa status.
• No relocation assistance.
• 6:00AM – 4:30PM Monday through Thursday (with weekday and weekend overtime as required)
