Energy Auditor

Our client, a prominent energy consulting firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Energy Auditor to join their team in New York City. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

What you’ll do:

• Conduct comprehensive energy audits for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Perform ASHRAE Level I,II,III energy audits to assess building energy performance.
• Analyze energy consumption data and identify opportunities for energy savings and decarbonization.
• Develop detailed energy audit reports, including recommendations for energy efficiency improvements and decarbonization strategies.
• Collaborate with clients to implement energy-saving measures and track progress.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to energy efficiency and decarbonization.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on energy management practices.
• Perform on-site inspections and assessments of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and insulation.
• Utilize energy modeling software and tools to evaluate energy performance.

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in energy modeling software and tools.
• Knowledge of NYC energy codes and regulations is a plus.
• Experience in ASHRAE Level I,II,III audits
