About the Role:

As the Service Manager in Sterling VA, you will lead a dedicated team responsible for bench repair, technical support, and field service. You’ll oversee safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity metrics, ensuring our customers receive top-tier service.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Lead & Inspire: Supervise and mentor a team of approximately seven (7) bench repair and technical customer support associates.
  • Drive Success: Guide your team to meet annual service targets, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Foster Growth: Support your team in setting and achieving personal and professional goals.
  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work closely with our Loveland Service Manager to implement and improve service frameworks across North America.
  • Solve Complex Challenges: Tackle high-end water quantity and datalogging instrument issues with sophisticated analytical skills.
  • Support Our Customers: Manage technical support queues, diagnose issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Champion Safety: Ensure a safe working environment, adhering to safety protocols around electrical and mechanical hazards.
  • Impact Revenue: Make informed billing decisions and contribute to the financial success of the service team.

Education, Background and Skill Requirements

  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
  • OR at least five years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating leadership, technical customer support, and equipment repair skills.
  • Results-Driven: Proven track record of achieving targets and driving continuous improvement.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to boost team capabilities and deliver effective solutions.
  • Business Acumen: Strong judgement in balancing business needs while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Innovative Mindset: Experience working in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 – $112,000.00 per year
