What You Will Do
As a Senior Consultant at Guidehouse you will be working in a team advising our clients on how they can best navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with the energy transition.
Projects may cover topics such as, decarbonisation pathways for transport, industry and heat, electricity network innovation, flexibility markets, net-zero business model opportunities, regional whole system solutions across electricity and gas, network asset management, and offshore grid development.
Perform industry research, engage internal and external stakeholders, prepare client deliverables, and present findings to your project team and clients.
Synthesise data into clear analyses and provide fact-based recommendations and solutions for drafting summary reports and presentations.
Support the development of plans to implement the recommendations and solutions proposed.
Support the development of client proposals and other business development activities.

What You Will Need:
Business or Engineering School (Cat A, HEC, ESSEC, ESCP, INSEAD, X, CentraleSupelec, Mines) or International University degree with a focus on (energy) economics, (energy) business management, engineering, science, or equivalent experience
Preferred first knowledge of power or gas supply systems, grid integration of decentralised sources, digitalisation of the energy sector and/or power markets
3-5 years of working experience in related fields.
A strong curiosity, and/or experience, in a relevant industry topic such as: power systems, renewable energy integration, flexibility markets, electricity transmission & distribution planning and operations, sustainability, and/or advanced energy technologies.
Experienced with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with other analytics tools a plus.
Right to work in France (e.g. French passport, EU national, valid work permit)
Fluent in French language (written and spoken).
Fluent English language (written and spoken).
Flexibility to work with Guidehouse colleagues and/or client teams in Guidehouse Paris office, and other France locations as needed.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Relevant Masters degree (e.g., engineering, energy, economics, mathematics, physical sciences, etc.)
Willingness to travel internationally.
