The Position: A Solar Energy Consultant (Solar Sales Rep) role that fast-tracks you to the top of Americas fastest growing and most lucrative industry, without losing your soul. This Solar Sales Rep position is perfect for candidates who are sick of false promises and a lack of support in other Solar Sales positions in Connecticut. This may be for you if youre sick of opportunities on Indeed that never pan out, wasting time at companies that dont see their true potential, or selling high-priced Max Rate products that do not benefit the customer.

The Problem: Most solar companies today are Max Rate on a 2.99% escalator, a.k.a. as much as possible so they can line their pockets. This creates an unstable business environment and puts the company you work for and yourself at risk. It is not a sustainable career and does not allow you to sleep well at night.

Important Job Requirements:

  • Get Up To Speed Quickly: You’ll get acclimated with a comprehensive 2-week onboarding program, covering product knowledge, sales techniques, company systems, and industry regulations. Our experienced mentors provide ongoing support, with daily one-on-one coaching sessions to set you up for success.
  • Embrace The Challenge: This role isn’t easy and the position isn’t for everyone. Our sales reps run lots of appointments and you will need to keep up. There is a good amount of driving, early mornings, late nights, and Saturdays. You’ll succeed if that feels like a fun challenge, and if you can handle the freedom and responsibility of a commission-based role.
  • Daily Commitment: Unlike typical sales jobs, this is not a 9-5 where youre watching the clock until its time to go home. Every day is an opportunity to learn, to grow, and to create a future youll be proud of.
  • Pre-Set Appointment Hours: appointments run between 9:00am and 8:00pm M-SAT with optional Sunday appointments available if you would like to run them.
