Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
The Sales Operations Systems Analyst plays a pivotal role within our sales organization, enabling the sales process through efficient operation and integration of Salesforce and analytical support to keep opportunities flowing through the pipeline. This individual is will initially be focused on configuring Salesforce to match the sales process and then focus on ongoing pipeline hygiene while supporting key business processes. As a thought leader, they drive innovation and best practices to support pipeline growth, scalability and reduced conversion timelines. Their expertise ensures that all technological tools function harmoniously, contributing to the overall productivity and success of the organization.
As our Sales Operations Systems Analyst, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Salesforce and all workflows, integrations, apps, and processes within it pertaining to sales operations.
  • Salesforce roles, profiles, and permissions within the sales team.
  • Configuring layouts for each user group.
  • Configure salesforce to fit the sales process which may include:
    • Building stage gates
    • Creating custom objects (as needed) to support scope of work, sequence of events
  • Systems troubleshooting support for business users.
  • Creating dashboards and reports for user groups within sales to optimize workflows
  • Pipeline hygiene best practices and ongoing enablement support.
  • Salesforce upgrades and verifies success with all integrated peer applications (current ecosystem includes Hubspot, PandaDoc, Airtable, Planhat, Linksquares)
  • Provide documentation and Salesforce training as needed
  • Provide strategic guidance & recommendations to business leaders to solve process & organization problems as well as streamline processes & throughput of the teams.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Salesforce admin or analyst role supporting sales organizations.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a sales organization, ideally in the technology or energy sector.
  • Track record of developing and implementing mechanisms to automate processes, improving scalability and reduced conversion timelines.
  • Experience working with outsourcing providers and senior leadership.
  • Subject Matter Expert in Salesforce administration, pipeline hygiene and sales operations support.
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to meeting the evolving needs of a high-growth and fast-paced organization.
  • Experience in Energy Management systems, Electrical, HVAC, Building Automation and Controls with Generators, EV a plus
  • Demonstrated experience leading and executing projects to transformational change including plan development and execution and overall change management
  • Experience working in a geographically dispersed team.
  • Demonstrated experience reducing administrative burden on sales teams, process and data mapping.
  • Solid presentation and oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence.
  • Experience managing and configuring pricebooks.
  • Preferred, 10 years experience in small/medium size private equity businesses where you are responsible for building the infrastructure.
  • CPQ experience preferred.
  • Experience creating custom objects preferred.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)/console experience with deployment methodologies a plus.
