Job Description

Green Mountain Power is seeking a Systems Administrator with outstanding technical skills to join our systems team. In this role you will help manage and support our Windows, VMware, cloud, storage, and other application environments, while also providing support for systems utilized by our mobile workforce.

Successful applicants will possess knowledge of and experience with Windows 10/11, Windows Servers, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and VMware vSphere. Additional abilities utilizing VMware Horizon View (VDI), Azure, Intune, MacOS, iOS, iPadOS, AWS, and NAS/SAN storage are a plus.

A strong passion for growth and a willingness to work and innovate in a highly creative, fast paced, and technical environment is preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential. We look for a positive attitude, natural aptitude, and a strong work ethic as key attributes in our candidates. This is an on-site position that includes occasional in-state travel as well as the possibility for flexible, hybrid work, with the option of being based out of either our Colchester or Rutland, Vermont locations.
