Solar Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Solar Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting solar panel systems in various settings.

Duties
– Install solar panels on rooftops or other structures following engineering specifications
– Perform routine maintenance on solar panel systems
– Troubleshoot and repair solar panel systems as needed
– Connect panels to the electrical system
– Test and commission solar panel systems
– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards

Requirements
– Experience working on construction sites
– Knowledge of low voltage systems
– Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints
– Proficiency in using a voltmeter and power tools
– Previous experience as a commercial electrician is a plus
– Understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
– Proficient in using hand tools for installation and maintenance tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 – $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 40 per week
