Job Title: Biomass Maintenance Technician

Company: Greenberry Industrial

Immediate Supervisor: Maintenance Team Lead

Location: Shell New Energies – Junction City, Oregon

Duration: Full-Time M-F

Schedule: Day shift- 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM

Overview

Shell New Energies – Junction City is growing their Renewable Natural Gas facility and Greenberry Industrial, the Operations & Maintenance contract holder, is looking to hire local talent to focus on production and maintenance consistency. The anaerobic digestion process at the plant converts organic waste into biogas. That biogas is then upgraded into Renewable Natural Gas and injected into the local pipeline.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Contribute to a pleasant and positive work atmosphere
  • Perform job duties with safety at the forefront
  • Complete and follow Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and Permit to Work (PTW)
  • Perform Preventative and Corrective maintenance on a variety of pumps, agitators, conveyers, augers, sensors, valves, grinders, compressors, motors, & gearboxes.
  • Spare part inventory management
  • Read & interpret Standard Operating and Maintenance Procedures
  • Interface with our Computer Maintenance Management Software
  • Read and interpret P&ID drawings
  • Complete work individually or in team settings
  • Follow Shells Life Saving Rules and Process Safety Fundamentals


Education & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Oregon driver’s license

Skills

  • Understand Process Safety Management
  • Certifications within OSHA safety policies is preferred
  • Be able to work with a diverse team with varying backgrounds and skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Competent with Microsoft 360
  • Must be willing to work extended shifts if needed
  • Must be willing and able to work in all seasons and conditions throughout the year
  • Physically able to lift items that are 50lbs max and team lift 100lbs max
  • Drug-free work environment Must be able to pass drug test and be part of company random testing program

Salary / Benefits

  • Pay range will be $25.00-$38.00- based on experience
  • $52,000- $79,040 annually
  • Weekly pay frequency
  • Benefits accrue after 90 days Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k
