As a Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. The Advanced Clean Technologies team sits within Climate Operations, and works to unlock and scale the advanced clean technologies we need to achieve Google’s clean energy and decarbonization goals , through strategic investments, offtake, and partnerships. Examples of technologies we work on include: next-gen geothermal, advanced nuclear, long duration energy storage, grid technologies, and carbon removals technologies.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $99,000-$145,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Responsibilities

  • Execute technoeconomic and financial analyses to evaluate potential advanced clean energy technology agreements (i.e., investments and off take opportunities).
  • Participate in the program management of advanced clean energy agreement pipeline opportunities.
  • Conduct market analysis to evaluate opportunities and use cases for new clean technologies.
  • Support scenario development, acquisition, and testing of new data inputs and validation of new features for Google’s electricity grid decarbonization capacity expansion model.
