As a Buyer I, you will play a crucial role in helping us maintain and optimize our supply chain focusing on customer service orders. You will be responsible for procuring goods and services for our organization, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a strong knack for problem-solving.

What You Will Do (job Responsibilities)

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and requirements.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products and services.
  • Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible deals.
  • Monitor inventory levels and place purchase orders to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Coordinate with the logistics team to track and expedite deliveries, ensuring timely receipt of goods.
  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers, including quality control and invoice discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.

Who You Are (qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field or three to five year’s experience.
  • Proven experience as a buyer or in a similar purchasing role.
  • Proficiency in using procurement software or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of market trends and suppliers in the industry.
  • Familiarity with legal regulations and practices related to procurement
