We’re looking for a Real Estate Manager to play a key role in our Energy Storage Project Development Team. In this position, you’ll focus on de-risking projects and managing land administration across our nationwide portfolio. What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with project development leaders and experts to manage real estate initiatives, including titling and surveying, for utility-scale renewable projects nationwide.
- Develop and implement efficient processes for site acquisitions, project de-risking, and due diligence, tracking critical milestones throughout the project lifecycle.
- Take ownership of land acquisition, survey assessments, and title reviews for our renewable projects.
- Work closely with our Legal and Accounting teams to ensure compliance with agreements and timely payments.
- Provide valuable insights to the Origination and Project Development teams on site identification and acquisition strategies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with landowners and community stakeholders to support site control negotiations and lease agreements.
- Oversee and manage controlled sites, options, and land leases within our project development portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in developing and managing real estate land and title administration processes.
- Expertise in ALTA surveys, title reports, and mineral right evaluations.
- Proficiency with ArcGIS.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to track deadlines, obligations, and milestones.
- Experience in leases, purchase options, land permitting, and site control administration.
- Proven ability to draft and review real estate documents such as purchase/sales agreements, lease terms, and easements.
- A solid background in land negotiations and closing large commercial real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with utility-scale renewables (solar PV, energy storage, wind) and the project lifecycle is a plus.
- Ability to engage in advanced discussions related to utility-scale renewables, transmission, and battery storage.
