About The Job
The Graduate Electrical Engineer – Renewable Energy will support electrical engineering in offshore/onshore oil and gas and wind/solar projects during concept, pre-FEED, with a focus on the electrical architecture of the project including offshore/onshore substations, power cables. The graduate Electrical Engineer will be assigned tasks under the guidance of the other seniors of the discipline; work is periodically reviewed by the Lead Electrical Engineer or Study Manager.
You will perform engineering calculations related to electrical discipline, e.g. load analysis. Develop specifications for electrical equipment like switchboards, Transformers, and Installation material; Evaluate technical bids; review electrical layouts and prepare bulk material take-off. Assist in developing Single line diagrams, load lists, and other electrical engineering deliverables.
