Overview Are you looking for a new home to leverage your technical sales and account management expertise in the Utility-scale solar market?

Paige, a GCG company, is currently seeking a Strategic Account Manager to drive business growth in the utility-scale solar market. In this role, you will work closely with our National Sales Director and the Renewables team to manage existing strategic accounts while forging new and profitable business relationships with potential client companies. You’ll call on engineering, procurement, and construction teams to educate them on the custom wire harness and cabling solutions offered by Paige Renewables, positioning Paige as a valued partner in the utility-scale solar space

  • This position offers a remote work arrangement but would require no less than 50% travel to facilitate visits to customer facilities as well as projects in the field. To allow for ease of travel to customers, preferred candidate location would be in Texas or one of the surrounding states.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive continued revenue growth for Paige’s Renewables division
  • Engage and enhance existing strategic accounts, educating customers on the product offerings of Paige Renewables
  • Perform onsite and virtual sales calls and maintain frequent phone and email correspondence with client base to ensure that Paige is at the forefront of their purchasing decisions
  • Apply a high touch approach to provide timely follow-up with all aspects of product sales including quoting and provision of additional information on bids and purchases
  • Work closely with sales enablement, engineering, logistics, accounting, and supply chain teams to drive projects forward and pursue monthly and quarterly sales goals
  • Review and submit proposals, product submittal packages, product specifications, and other information as required to capture business
  • Generate and update reports, forecasts, and budgets associated to existing and potential future accounts
  • Perform additional duties as needed to ensure customer satisfaction

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in an outside / technical sales role within the electrical / wire and cable industry; previous experience in utility-scale solar a plus but not required
  • Positive energy, patience and persistence, and a consultative approach to sales with an eagerness to support all customer needs
  • Ability to engage with new / potential customers to build strong business relationships
  • Ability to research independently to build your knowledge base of the utility-scale solar market and company product offerings
  • Basic electrical knowledge as it pertains to design and construction
  • Contract review and negotiations are not required but will be a great benefit to you and the team
  • Estimating experience is highly beneficial but not required
  • Strong proficiency with MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Exemplary organizational, communication, and collaboration skills especially in relaying technical information with multiple stakeholders
