We are seeking a solar installer to join our local, family run solar business. Must be self-motivated, take pride in your work and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Our Service area is centered around Yuba City, Chico, Oroville, Grass Valley and Sacramento. With farther locations including Redding, Napa, and San Jose. Our business is currently expanding so this is a wonderful opportunity for a motivated individual as this position can grow and expand quickly.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
-Rooftop and groundmount solar installations. The PV Installer will be responsible for assisting photovoltaic system installation from beginning to end
-No experience necessary, on the job training available. However, if you do have previous experience this can be discussed during the interview and pay can be determined
-Comfortable working on roofs with various heights and slopes
-Must be willing and able to occasionally travel (including overnight stays)
-Must be dependable, respectful, professional, hard working and have a positive attitude
-This is a labor intensive position in all weather conditions. You must have the ability to stand for long periods of time, kneel, squat, twist, climb roofs, dig trenches, unload and load heavy equipment, familiarity with ladder work, handle power tools
-Ability to work well with a crew and be a team player
-Clean our work truck and keep track of inventory
-Valid drivers license, experience driving large trucks and have personal transportation
