Florence is now hiring a Powder Coat Paint Supervisor for 2nd shift Production. Powder Coat paint, the application of acrylics or enamels, or similar industrial paints or coatings application experience is required. Attention to detail, people management and ability to identify areas for improvement and drive cross-collaboration for actionable solutions are key components for successful in this role.

What you’ll do
The Powder Coat Supervisor is responsible leading the Powder Coat Paint Production department by facilitating daily pre-shift meetings, adhering to the daily schedule, and collaborating with first shift supervisors to ensure information is transferred from first shift to second shift to successfully meet daily production goals and targets.
A typical day includes monitoring and assisting on the paint lines to ensure process standards such as paint application, titration, and flow are followed. They will consistently monitor product parts before, during and after the paint process for quality assurance. 2nd shift hours are 3:30pm to 2:00am Monday through Thursday with some Friday work required.
This position is responsible for identifying and involving the right solutions and personnel for continuous improvements related to the reduction of waste and defects. Administrative tasks such as reporting daily numbers, learning and following ISO procedures, ensuring all safety standards are followed, timekeeping, training, coaching, interviewing, and employee development are also key responsibilities.
