Essential responsibilities and duties:
The role of the Plant Controller is to manage the financial aspects of the operation in order to guarantee and optimize the plants financial performance. The Controller is in charge of financial issues including budgeting, month-end reporting, internal controls and year end audits. S/he ensures that the corporate assets are protected by maintaining internal controls environment. S/he assists the management to make profitable business decisions.
The main missions of the role are:
o Contribute to the elaboration of mid-term plan, budget and forecasts for one or several entities
o Manage data consolidation and reporting ensuring reliability, consistency and transparency according to the Group, Business Group and division policies, including compliance with relevant accounting and tax rules
o Contribute to the analysis of the variances and propose appropriate correction actions
o Participate in the profitability and cash improvement actions
o Develop, execute and control internal procedures including spending authorizations in respect to Corporate policies
o Contribute to business plan elaboration and financial justifications for new business acquisition
o Review financial impact of current and future operations
o Ensure the budgetary control of the plant
o Control the plants operating cash flow, especially investment cash flow and accounts, receivables, payables and inventories
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have/be:
Minimum education level: Business school with a Finance degree or Master’s degree in Finance
Experience, Skill/Competencies :
o 2 to 5 years of professional experience
o Good accounting knowledge with Plant Controlling experience
o Computer literate and good knowledge of IT systems
o Strong teamwork skills
o Strong leadership and people development skills
o Strong communication skills
o Minimum bi-lingual (English required)
