Job title: LNG Newbuild Manager (Construction & Ship Design)

Who are we recruiting for?
Executive Integrity are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to join our client, a leading player in the global energy sector. As part of their Engineering & Technology team, this person will provide project and engineering management leadership and expertise to a variety of LNGC/FSRU Newbuild, and Conversion Projects driven by development projects worldwide.
What will you be doing?
- Ability to manage projects which will include major upgrades to vessel systems from inception through commissioning including on-site supervision as required.
- Monitor financial status of assigned work scopes and submit meaningful and reasonably accurate forecast to complete (FTC) for the project budget forecast.
- Organize and participate in activities pertinent to project risk analysis, evaluation, remediation, and integration of data.
- Develop/supervise/coordinate basic and detailed engineering and define equipment required to fulfill the project systems in accordance with the design criteria as defined for the project, and in compliance with company policies and standards.
- Knowledge of industry standards for vessel design including Classification Rules, Flag and Regulatory requirements and ensuring that the project is in compliance with above regulations.
- Ensure commercial terms quoted are in accordance with project and company requirements.
- Review and approve vendors and shipyard design, drawings, specifications, and documentation.
- Supervise and manage contractors/shipyard to ensure the efficient implementation of Excelerate Energy’s work scope specifications, standards, customer standards and regulatory standards.
Are you the ideal candidate?
- Min. 4 year recognized bachelor’s degree or equivalent engineering degree.
- 8-10+ years project engineering experience in shipbuilding or offshore oil and gas industry or any major industrial or maritime projects.
- Experience in LNG or FSRU related operations required.
- Must have exceptional verbal and written communication skills as well as computer proficiency including MS Office Suite, use of scheduling programs such as MS Project or Primavera, and AutoCAD are a plus.
