Senior Electrical Engineer

The Senior Electrical Power Engineer will be responsible for the Electrical design of C&I, Community and Utility-Scale Renewable Projects for a well-leveraged, multi-disciplined Engineering services and Design firm.

With multiple offices in the North-East and Texas, they are offering in-office and fully remote opportunities for PE Licensed EEs looking to apply power systems studies expertise to a portfolio of renewable projects.

The successful individual will come with c.10 years of proven experience supporting projects from preliminary designs through COD and provide Electrical Engineering design scope and estimations for multi scope RFPs across Electrical, Civil, Environmental and Permitting proposals.

Acting as a technical expert this individual will come with a seasoned history in electrical engineering design in medium and high voltage industry. They will develop detailed electrical design for the full construction package 30%, 60%, IFC including, DC site plan & electrical, AC site plan & electrical, and all related studies and calculations.

Previous experience in Renewable Power Plans or Substation Design, or with a renewable EPC is essential.

Core duties include performing transmission/interconnection and/or electric market simulation studies (Power System studies, Coordinated Electric System Interconnection Review, Electrical Balance of Plant solutions and System Impact Studies).

Proficiency expected in AutoCAD, PVCase, PVSyst, Digsilent ETAP, WinIGS, PLS-CADD
