This is an industry unique opportunity, within an employee owned business, for a cross-functional, entrepreneur to build out a regional practice that complements regional and nationwide renewable energy engineering efforts.

Our client is a national engineering consulting firm, and they would consider this position in any major metropolitan area in the US to build out a regional portfolio. inc. Chicagoland, Twin Cities and Kansas in the Mid-West alone.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and expand practice teams for advanced multi-discipline projects in renewable energy, sustainability, solar engineering, and battery storage systems.
• Bring your entrepreneurial spirit to the table and craft a vision for the growth of a regional renewable energy practice and beyond.
• Enjoy autonomy to spearhead and nurture your business, setting goals, and fostering positive client relationships.
• Lead with integrity, sound business principles, and effective communication within your team and with partners.
• Drive the growth of their Renewable Energy Practice, mentoring staff and ensuring project profitability.

What They Offer:

• Competitive base salary ranging from $155,000 to $230,000, with impressive bonuses and further earnings potential, based on performance.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in engineering, design, and management of renewable energy projects.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred
• Established client contacts and relationships within the local market.
• Proven track record in business development and winning work.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and technical skills.
• Passion for client engagement and problem-solving.
• Ability to effectively manage and mentor staff while maintaining project profitability.
