Are you ready to make recommendations on cutting-edge projects that have a tangible impact on the environment? Do you have a background in Engineering?

Our client is a pioneering investment group and owner/operator, with a great track record of building renewable energy companies and developing and acquiring solar and wind projects across the US.

Operating at the strategic intersection of decision making on a project portfolio you will be interacting with Asset Management Teams and EPC Teams across the power markets division, moving informed conversations forward with your recommendations and assessments.

Your role will drive forward the technical and strategic decisions that keep this firm at the forefront of the industry from assisting with identifying new investment opportunities and monitoring their existing portfolio. You’ll be an integral part of a dynamic team, collaborating across engineering, legal, and finance to turn groundbreaking ideas into reality.

Crucially, you will have the blend of experience across Engineering (Academic and through Internship/direct experience) AND business acumen.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:

  • Research and develop potential technical solutions for exciting renewable energy projects, including solar and wind repowers and battery integration.
  • Dive into financial modeling—evaluate project economics, costs, returns, and prepare insightful financial reports to shape their strategies.
  • Collaborate with diverse teams to hit project milestones and manage stakeholder processes.
  • Uncover new market opportunities with forward-looking assessments and real-time market feedback.
  • Maintain project databases and ensure compliance with industry standards.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree (Minimum) in engineering with 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Prior experience in solar/renewables, along with a foundational understanding of power/energy markets.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Mastery of Excel, exceptional analytical abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary: Competitive annual base salary between $100,000 and $130,000.
