The Controller, Sr. Director of Accounting will be responsible for leading and improving the overall accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate business operations and financial reporting by driving consistent and efficient performance across the accounting team. Success in this role is dependent on leadership, organization/people development, process improvement, and ability to deal with a rapidly changing business environment.

This role is open to be 100% remote or a hybrid role out of one of our offices (Mountain View, CA, San Diego, CA or New York, NY.)

Compensation
The pay range for this position is $130,000 – $216,500 annually. This position is eligible for PowerFlex’s comprehensive Health and Welfare plans including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, 401(k) retirement plan and paid time off. The total compensation for this position may include an annual performance bonus (or other incentive compensation, as applicable). PowerFlex’s compensation packages carefully consider a candidate’s qualifications, experiences, and education in relation to the position.

Remaining in a seated position. Long hours on computer keyboard. Prolonged periods of standing and/or walking.
Working Conditions
Primarily office working environment, but rare field visits will be needed which requires standing, walking, and able to document/measure existing conditions. Otherwise, normal office environment. Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
