Job Description:

Epoch Batteries is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing the technical operations of our product development and production processes. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage a team of technicians, ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and safety in all technical operations.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technicians in daily operations, including assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of lithium battery systems.

– Ensure that all technical processes adhere to company standards and industry regulations, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

– Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on product performance, potential improvements, and troubleshooting strategies.

– Oversee the implementation and maintenance of quality control procedures, ensuring all products meet or exceed customer expectations.

– Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, identify challenges, and develop solutions to technical issues.

– Provide technical training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

– Monitor and report on team performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve processes and outcomes.

– Maintain an organized and efficient work environment, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are properly managed and maintained.

– Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in lithium battery technology and incorporate best practices into the team’s workflow.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.

– Proven experience in a leadership role within a technical or manufacturing environment, preferably in the battery or renewable energy industry.

– Strong technical knowledge of lithium battery systems, including assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.

– Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions under pressure.

– Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team, with a focus on continuous improvement and professional development.

– Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

– Proficiency with technical tools and software related to battery systems and manufacturing processes.
