The Role:

EPC Power is seeking a dynamic and experienced Information Systems Manager to oversee our information systems operations, including ERP management, business process automation, and analytics. This multifaceted role involves maintaining our current SAP Business One system and leading the strategic transition to a new ERP over the next 1-2 years. You will manage ERP integrations with platforms like Salesforce, Windchill, Planful, Paylocity, Certify, and SharePoint, enhancing business processes and decision-making through advanced analytics and automation tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.

You will be pivotal in driving the development and implementation of document management strategies and automated business processes, streamlining workflows, and increasing operational efficiency. We are looking for a forward-thinking leader who combines technical expertise with a passion for leveraging information systems, data analytics, and process automation to optimize business performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize the current SAP Business One system.
  • Strategically plan, and help lead, the transition to a new ERP system.
  • Integrate ERP systems with other critical platforms, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Implement and manage diverse ERP solutions, both hosted and SaaS-based.
  • Provide comprehensive technical support for ERP and other information systems.
  • Collaborate with vendors for effective problem resolution and to stay informed on the latest technological advancements.
  • Design and implement information systems supporting global company operations, with a focus on process automation and efficiency.
  • Drive business process automation using tools like Power Automate and Power Apps to create streamlined workflows.
  • Utilize analytics tools such as Power BI for insightful data analysis and reporting.
  • Customize ERP and information systems to support automated business processes and decision-making.
  • Lead and develop a team to achieve project goals and enhance business processes.
  • Regularly report on system performance, project progress, and strategic initiatives to the IT Director.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • ERP Systems Management: Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing ERP systems, including system maintenance, integration, and implementing transitions to new platforms. Experience with Oracle NetSuite or MS Dynamics is highly preferred; SAP Business One experience is a plus.
    • Operational IT: At least 3 years of experience in operational IT, including business process optimization and analytics. Experience in MRP/Manufacturing environments is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in business process automation and analytics tools like Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
    • Strong project management skills, capable of leading diverse projects, including system enhancements and large-scale implementations.
    • Excellent collaboration skills with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
    • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organizational abilities.
    • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, with a strong customer service orientation.
    • Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement and staying updated with the latest advancements in information systems and automation technologies.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively and concurrently.
