Job Summary:

The Training Program Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive training program tailored for a Power Procurements Office in the renewable energy and utilities industry. This role involves designing, organizing, and delivering training initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Training Program Development:

– Collaborate with stakeholders to assess training needs and objectives for the Power Procurements Office.

– Design and develop training programs that address specific skill gaps and industry requirements in renewable energy and utilities.

– Create training materials, modules, and resources to support learning initiatives.

2. Training Delivery and Facilitation:

– Organize and conduct training sessions, workshops, and seminars for employees at various levels within the organization.

– Deliver engaging and interactive training sessions that promote active learning and skill development.

– Facilitate discussions, activities, and exercises to reinforce learning outcomes.

3. Program Evaluation and Improvement:

– Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

– Identify areas for improvement and implement revisions to training content and delivery methods as needed.

– Continuously update training materials to reflect industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in renewable energy and utilities.

4. Stakeholder Engagement:

– Collaborate with subject matter experts, department heads, and external trainers to ensure training content meets industry standards and organizational needs.

– Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support the success of training initiatives.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

– Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant progress, and outcomes.

– Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on training program effectiveness and impact for management review.

Qualifications:

– Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Masters degree preferred.

– Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs, ideally in the renewable energy or utilities industry.

– Strong understanding of Power Procurements and related processes within the energy sector.

– Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques.

– Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.

– Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

– Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.

– Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and training software tools.

Additional Requirements:

– Experience in developing training programs specific to renewable energy technologies and utilities operations.

– Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the energy industry.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
