The Opportunity

The Chief Commercial Officer of Tradewind Energy is responsible for developing and implementing an overall commercial strategy to allow the Company to be effective in achieving revenue targets and desired portfolio composition/balance. Commercial strategy will initially focus on a develop-and-flip business model of utility scale wind, solar and battery energy storage systems across the U.S. and Canada, but the successful candidate must demonstrate familiarity with commercial considerations arising from constructing and operating assets in an IPP business.

What You’ll Do At Enel

  • Supporting the overall commercial strategy for greenfield development of utility-scale wind, solar, and storage assets across multiple ISOs/RTOs in the US and Canada.
  • Developing and implementing revenue generation strategy at both a project and corporate level.
  • Participating in and creating recommendations for Company executive committee

* Preparing for the Company’s investment processes. * Identifying yearly asset divestment plan and, where appropriate, acquisition plan in order to

  • Refining and ensuring compliance with such processes.
  • Overseeing all elements of M&A strategy

achieve revenue targets, maintain target pipeline size and desired market/technology

  • Overseeing all project/portfolio sales processes to ensure appropriate mix of revenue and risk

over multiple planning horizons

  • Driving project and market-level offtake bidding and negotiation strategies

* Originating and negotiating power purchase and other similar agreements with utilities, trading

firms and C&I customers for upcoming projects with 2026 and beyond delivery years.

  • Providing guidance on structuring optimal PPA duration, revenue mix and hedging

strategies, as well as maintaining all PPA pricing models

  • Managing and overseeing a team of approx. 15 transaction and origination managers and subject matter experts located across the United States
  • Promoting and ensuring continuous integration and improvement between all department within the Company

Who You Are

  • Strong client-facing and internal communication skills;
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change;
  • Ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meet deadlines;
  • Highly developed business acumen;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively support and work well with other disciplines
  • A valid driver’s license operable in all 50 states and Canada;
  • Up to 50% of domestic travel and 10% of international travel.

What You’ve Accomplished

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management, Finance, Engineering or similar
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to operate effectively in uncertain environments
  • Advanced degree in business or economics required
  • 12+ years of proven experience in renewable energy project development, M&A, structuring and investment delivery
  • Strong knowledge of project development, transaction negotiations, finance and project investment valuation
  • Experience in managing large and geographically distributed teams
