We are the leading provider of Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) compliance management solutions for utility and community scale project developers and clean energy investors.

Our software platform and services enable solar, energy storage, wind, and other clean energy developers to manage prevailing wage and apprenticeship, domestic content and other clean energy tax incentive compliance, maximize the value of their tax credits, and protect tax equity investors and corporate tax credit buyers from IRS recapture audit risk.

We are building an incredible company and are seeking a Director of Strategic Partnerships to accelerate our market leadership. As our Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will be instrumental in maintaining and expanding our market leadership. This role involves forging strong relationships with strategic partners, enhancing sales performance, and integrating partner feedback into product development. Reporting to our CEO, you will be a vital member of the leadership team, driving market share, revenue, and profitability

This Director of Strategic Partnerships will be responsible for the following:

  • Develop and maximize relationships with strategic partners including insurance firms, tax credit transaction advisory firms, law firms, accounting firms, other related software and services firms, tax credit marketplaces, and many more
  • Lead our relationships with Empact strategic partners to maximize sales
  • Train partners on market, solutions, benefits, competitive sales strategies, and closing tactics
  • Work with strategic partners to sell Empact software and services to potential clients including creating and delivering client sales presentations, developing commercial proposals, assisting partners with closing accounts
  • Monitor partner performance and provide ongoing support to ensure sales targets are met.
  • Work with CEO to identify, pursue and close new strategic partners

Candidate qualifications:

  • Clean energy sales, business development, partnership or marketing experience is required
  • 10+ years of increasing responsibility with a minimum of 4 years as a director or manager of Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or equivalent.
  • Successful experience in SaaS sales, marketing, or business development required.
  • Hubspot or other CRM experience required
  • Prior technology start-up experience is highly desired.
  • Experience working with channel partners a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • High IQ and EQ.
  • Ability to roll up sleeves and execute.
  • Enthusiastic, gets a lot done, no prima-donnas.

The company is distributed so the candidate can be based anywhere in the US, although candidates in Colorado or Texas would be considered a plus.
